About your gps , take my palm with the gps in it and see what the speed says. I didn't buy the marine charts screen is a bit small, but speed will work fine. Is that the only issue?

Not sure how much fuel it will take... I guess I'll have to do it to find out!
I think the GPS is working but everyone else's is broken!

(The hand held GPS don't work for crap.)

Well, I go my boat ride today! 
Took the ferry from Manhattan and met Mike in Highlands. Took a "quick" ride down the river and then Windandsea for dinner! 
It was like glass out there.
