The pistons are cleaned and mounted with new Total seal TNT gapless rings. Got the main and conrod bearing clearances to .003".
Got the new cam (from RMBuilder) in and checked the ICL to make sure everything was correct - and so it was. |

And now to the repaired stringer and bottom! :evilb:
The white stuff you can see through the glass is a special filler that are commonly used in "performance" sail boats    that will hopefully keep this together. Looks completely awesome!!! Will put in the fuel tank and floor today! :evilb: |
nice work!!!
|
Spent 19 hours with the boat yesterday and still didn't get the floor in. :( But the fuel tank will definately stay in it's place from now on - no way it's gonna move! :evilb: Will post some pics later on.
Back to work! |
Finally got it done yesterday! :evilb: It took 35 hours to get it done... But at least it probably won't break again! And it weighs the same or perhaps even less than before.
A BIG thanks to the Zanders at Yacht Service in Åkersberga for the bottom repairs and letting us use your facilities! |

Regarding the Cape it depends on wether they will allow a real boat to participate in the Stockholm PR or not. Either way we will go boating during that weekend!!! :evilb: Bring some seamen shots! :drink: |

Will bring the whole Aalands-ferry with me!
I spoke with Johnny about the Stockholm PR, and the whole thing sounded a little bit wierd, to say at least. Oh no, seaman-shot, do you remember what happened with Mange last time we shared a bottle of that? :drink: :evilb: Ha ha ha! http://www.helawine.dk/Produkter/Lowres/11302.jpg |
Tomas I see that you have flat top pistons on your motor, I dont know the CC on your heads or your head gasket thickness. I hope you have a knock meter in your boat to let you know of any detination. I have a dish piston on my blower motor with a .76 thick Cometic gasket and the piston sit 20 in the hole, that gives me plenty of room for boost on pump gas.
