just like the 30 ! it is going to give him a chance to do another one!
nice work again !

I noticed the thru hull ''lifting'' (not really for lifting) hooks in the back beside the exhaust tips are... i will say the wrong side... at least compared to what i am used to see, being usually vertical instead of horizontal like in the picture... any reason for this?

Pardon the poor picture but that is the way they came from the factory as this old pic from the early 80's of my Scarab shows. Mine was a 1980 that I bought in 1982.

Thanks a lot Dan, if only I can finish it at some point.

I have had just about zero time in the past two weeks to do anything with the boat. I hope to do something with it this weekend.

Andy, isn't that the boat that Patrick Hughes ended up with? Our boats were both '80 models, looks like they were very similarly outfitted.

Yup, Patrick owns it, fitted out the same - Merc 475 turbo's w/#2 speedmasters and the saddle tanks option. At least I think he still owns it.
Andy

Another poor pic from back in the day.

Been very busy unable to work on the boat but in the last few days we’ve been getting some work done to the trailer and started on the gauges. I had a friend water jet some new gauge bezels. Brian helped me yesterday with repairing wiring on the trailer harness and getting the axles in place. This trailer has all new hardware except for the brake master cylinder sending unit deal upfront.
