I'm also adding mine back on this weekend. Just never got around to it when I was putting the boat back together. I cuss about it every weekend. Lol

Finally got the port motor together. Had to heli coil and finally installed arp studs to keep from pulling threads. Ran it yesterday and it did well. Also installed the cleats a few weeks ago.

I got the cockpit upholstery tightened up and re-installed it today. Had nifty cup holders made and they turned out well.

Also had the seadek installed this week.

A few things I have to address; I still have a pesky water leak inside the left arneson box and two gauges that aren’t working for some reason. (Right water pressure and left water temp)

The 40th Miami Vice anniversary has basically blown up. The venue got changed last minute from south beach to bayside marina in Miami. I had to cancel all 4 rooms I had reserved and rent a house with a dock in Miami. We’re driving down Thursday and will be coming back Monday, may not be participating in what’s left of the show. Might just boat around Miami all weekend. We’ll see.

Agree on all but you should highlight the cup holders……Very important!

Nice job on everything Heath.

I actually plan to get to that. The problem with the left engine has taken all my time the last few weeks.

I forgot to mention we’re working on painting the acrylic pieces on the side panels. They’ll get the beetle and WELLCRAFT script. It seems all the boats have a slightly different design. Should have them done tomorrow.

Well we’re leaving about 6am heading south to Miami. Kinda apprehensive. It’s been a rough few days trying to get a pesky leak in the left extension fixed, getting the timing on the left motor locked down, almost couldn’t get insurance. I’d been running minimum insurance til the boat was finished. I had the boat surveyed and now have it insured for the amount of the survey, which is a good bit more than 100k.

We got the acrylic pieces installed. As well as a lot of other things I didn’t take photos of. We should have some good photos from the trip in the coming days.
