I bought these used and they are the only things on the engines that aren’t really fresh. Of course it ends up costing me.
Nothing good or cheap about used exhaust . Some may say otherwise . Welder from Miami that moved into the shop next to mine years ago here in Naples had a trailer load of stellings and cmi and the aluminum manifolds that all needed work.

While we’re waiting on engine work we block sanded some imperfections out of the clear on the engine hatch and put two more coats on it.. Doesn't matter how careful and thorough you are, major bodywork, like the joint between these two pieces shrinks over time, and can start showing a little..

lol I’ll pass on that. I’ve got plenty to do between this, the v drive resto, and getting the ski boat ready for the kids to use.

I picked up the port engine Thursday, we got it painted today. Goal is to be on the water a week from Monday for Memorial Day. We’ll see how it goes. 😀

Well, complete rebuild on port motor after ingesting salt water in Miami. I installed new harnesses on both motors, the left side out of the boat, right side in the boat, enough to kill a 56 year old but I somehow survived😀. The new harnesses won’t plug into the boat side so I ordered revised pigtails, will be here Tuesday. Should be in the water this weekend.

When I did the engines by myself, I used a chain fall from the forks. Less climbing in and out!

We ran the boat Tuesday, ran great, not one drop of water or any other fluid in the bilge. I’m sure now that I said that something’s going to blow up on me lol
