Was just curious, I have original Myco trailer under my 35' Cig both '82 built...........back then trailer rims were 14" your steel trailer looks just like mine except for the tire size.

Big step today, finallly got the boat in the building next door. Siting temporararily in the trailer. Trailer is set up for a step hull boat so I’ll have to burn all those brackets off and prolly install a large bunk on each side of the rear and the middle of the front. Something like that anyway..

Thought you might like looking at this. Interesting to see the price jumps with engine packages back then and the options and their pricing.

Looking good! So, doing this, you will screw only the deck to hull right? Otherwise you could not fiberglass the sandwich from deck and hull together eithout having a mess on the fabric, right? Or you have a magic trick?

hblair 12-02-2018 10:21 PM

I have a magic trick. 🤓

Headliner

very impressive work , what kind of headliner do you use ? Name and Supplier please .

hblair 12-03-2018 11:55 AM

Jeff I didn't go all the way to the edge of the deck with the headliner. I'll still be able to tab the deck to the hull. Thanks rofra11, Here's a link to what I used. It's carpet style, but not as thick as the original, we did some grinding of imperfections in the glass before we put this stuff on...

Gonna be better than new ! can't wait to see the deck tabbed on.

I have some rubber left over for mounting the gas tank, i bought it from the place who made my tank
12 foot roll 2 inch wide x 1/4 inch thick. Supposed to be special for fuel tanks, white rubber non corrosive yadda yadda,
Yours if you want it.

Only reason i bring it up is my neighbor put a new floor in his 1987 runabout, the gas tank was installed with out foam
And is in like new condition,
(the 140 merc, alpha drive, and fuel tank are the only solid parts left, well the new floor )
I have pics of the tank and overall construction.

Keep up the great work coming along very well
