I searched and it has been discussed a little but not recently. Has anybody bought one from VDO or found a direct replacement?

I have been on a half-assed hunt for 311 glass for a while now. Boating around with a gaping hole in front of me and looking ghetto has grown old. Going to try plexi soon.

Towed by an SUV? Mine sucks to pull behind a 1 ton Duramax. I could sure use the starboard side front windshield off that bad boy.

Talked to Formula today and was refered to Water Bonnett the manufacturer for my glass. Ryan at Formula gave me the part number too. Water Bonnett in turn refered me back to George at Marine...

In my 311 yesterday out in the middle of no where on Lake Mojave in AZ she shattered. Just stopped from a little run to pull vacuum gauges off motors and while floating POP!. Starboard side...

Checked the kill switch and she is dead. Little plunger is stuck in the "run" position but no juice will flow. Cut switch out and wired direct and got the juice.

Tried to dig out the little...

My 311 port side motor has juice at the ignition switch but none at the coil or even before the harness connector at the motor. As much of the harness from the dash I can see looks good and...

Paid 50K for my '90 2 years ago with newer 502s and Bravos. Just spent 30K more on motors. New graphics next year and the new boats wont have a thing on my 311

I am waiting myself. Be another 4 weeks till she runs again. Then prop testing. The suspense is killing me! I would think low to mid 80s but we shall see. Maybe shorties to get closer to...
