Gaffrig GPS Wiring

Picked up a Gaffrig GPS Speedometer w/ recall. Instructions sent with show the older style gauge wiring and the gauge included simply has wires coming out of it, no posts like the old style.

My biggest concern is how it is all hard-wired. I am unsure if a lot of marine stereo's are this way or not, however key on power would be much nicer!

240 vs 250 sport

Obviously the 250 sport being the larger of the 2 boats, however how do they stack up hull wise when looking to go fast?

I will assume being larger and heavier the 250 will handle the rougher...
