Am I correct that with the msd ignition box you can fix the mechanical advance in the distributor & so the box takes care of the advance? No springs to worry about rusting?

instructions say it's set at 21 degrees stop bushings so if I set initial timing at 10 degrees i'm only getting...

So I cut this out. I can make a new one with 1.5 inch marine plywood or two pieces of 3/4 ply no problem
i can cut bottom at angle needed & epoxy bond to floor then lay glass onto it!

I just rebuilt one of the Borg Warner Velvet 1017 drives and i'm working on the second. It's pretty easy if you ask me. Just take pictures and pull the components out and set them aside then rebuild...

How about an electric solenoid valve on the oil cooler line. Don’t open it up until the oil gets hot. Maybe 20 minutes after start up then open the valve?
So many ways to hook things up I’m going...
