Are you guys talking about Number 6 dry sump drives? You are using gear lube in a dry sump 6? Torco MTF is like water and gear lube is like molasses. I believe Torco MTF is what Mercury recommends....

Dry sump sixes do not use Merc racing lube 80w90W.. It also does not use 2 gal, I assume that is for an older wet sump 6. The Torco MTF can be bought online.
