Pulling fridge out won't help--there are cabinet parts that seperate the fridge are from the wiring cabinet on top. You're right they didn't use and "extra" wire on those harneses--good cost sontrols...

Corrosion in the big wiring plug at the engine and connections will cause that problem. Clean them all and spray with some kind of corrosion inhibitor--Boeshield, CorrosionX--before you put them back...

THere is an acrylics shop here in Melbourne that will replicate that for you--Austin Acryilcs--Steve Austin.

They do a lot of prototype work and trade show stuff for Grumman, Lockheed, Harris.

Shy away from the "electronic" swithcs (Water Witch et al) and the "computerized" pumps.

Look for corrosion (green stuff) at all splices and test the switch. Lovett is the best around and lasts...
