I had the same set up as you... 7.4/330 Bravo 1, with a 23 pitch prop. Mine was a 1995 23 Nova. Yanked the 7.4 out and dropped in a ZZ502/502 GM...

Maybe look for a set of used (good) KE's. Plenty of rise, and good choice if you decide to up the power in the future. LOUD as hell but best bang for the buck.

Scott - riser blocks were 3 inch if I remember right....maybe 4 in. but def not 6. And yep, other than the risers stock Merc exhaust and with Imco Sound Advantage to boot, so as not to bother others...
