Powder coat is great until it starts to fail, and it will fail. It's like a plastic coating over the part, as soon as that coating is compromised water can get behind the powder coat and migrate....

177's are great for torque on a 454, I built a pair of full roller 454's and spun the 177's all they could handle and only made 620. And that's with chillers. They just don't move enough air
