DKerns, you will have to let us know how she runs. That is the same set up I would liked to have gotten into:drink: Looks I'll be doing the outboard thing at least for one season.

A friend of mine is a boat dealer, says the boat is only rated for 250 hp? That means I'd have to rig the motor myself. I'd need new controls and cables? Possibly hydraulic steering to handle a 300hp...

Ziemer the 86 Regal velocity I was originally looking at had the stickers too.

I'm waiting for my brother to pick up the 86 Velocity 22 O/B w/o motor! I haven't had any experience setting up...

Yeah Funhome I changed my mind and I think I'm going to pick that one up. Anyone know just what the best set up would be for the motor? Anyone selling a 200+ o/b?

This is the only velocity I've seen with flat black dash like this. Does anyone know if this is factory and how much it might cost to change it to solid red?

Ziemer, yeah thats the one. Thanks for the help unfortunately I'm looking for an I/O. That is a sweet boat. I found one pretty close to that for sale for $2499 w/o motor if any one is interested...

I'm not sure what I'm going to do now. The guy won't budge on the price, wouldn't even split the survey. If he would have moved at all I probably would be an owner right now.

It is relatively easy to replace the floor if it has gotten a little soft isn't it? I wouldn't think it would cost that much either?

Dkerns, I checked with that surveyors web site and looked like it would cost me about $375 to have it done. Seems a little steep? I suppose it's worth it though.

I've checked there and at bucvalu.com but the prices seem low compared to what I've found online.
