Just as final wrap-up of this issue (for anyone that might read this later with similar issue), the missing washer on the drain plug was the reason for the leak. Put one on and tightened it back up....

April Plaza has to be the best. Never had a problem with parking.... even when they hold tournaments. They will find a place for you. Nice ramp and decent docks. Nice location on the lake.......

Has anyone ever ran Galveston to Corpus? On the ICW or offshore? Anything to be careful with in Matagorda Bay or around Corpus? Looking to do as day trip as alternative to truck.

No vibration while running that I can detect. Some while accelerating in the 1500-2000 rpm range... always thought cavitation of some amount and getting up on plane. Prop doesn't appear bent to me....
