50' w/diesels

I rigged this for a Mr. Berlinger, out of Long Island. Triple 480 Yanmars, Arneson ASD 8's, genny, loaded. Shame it ended up on the bottom. Ran over 75mph @15,000 lbs

Sounds like the check valve in the pump is not seating and passing fluid, allowing the pump to bleed down. You seem mechanincal enough. Remove the pump from the reservoir and disassemble the pump...

You should have Slo-Blo put you in touch with Larry Barago, 43' Nortech with triple Illmores....had some serious issues....Illmore had to buy the motor package back..... he re-rigged with trip 700's...

Most definately....the fwd motor in in the center of the cockpit floor and the tanks are on either side of that fwd motor. Thats a ton of weight moved fwd. And don't forget that the surface drives...

No such thing of a 2 bolt only splayed....a 4 bolt splayed would have the center 2 bolts straight and the outer 2 on an angle. Definately stronger as it counteracts the side forces of the crank. ...

Look for an older HP-500 . Its got all the good parts, (steel crank, 7/16 rods, rectangle port heads) It was 502 cu in and a simple ring/bearing rebuild would be under 1k
