i have a new set of older gears never run but no clutch cone i think there 1.5s i pull a bearing out of the middle of gear it had a dent in bearing it can be relaced

mark the propshaft 1time all the way round and the u joint spins 1 and a half its a 1.5 ratio

check the gimbal u have to pull the drive to do so or if boat is out of water run engine on flush and turn steering side to side and listen for a growl in the gimbal area todd

rebuild the rams about 100.00 each in parts you will have to press off end caps and sand shafts with 1000 sandpaper or red scothbrite pad. todd
