You can run a lot of hours on a platinum or iridium plug, but it just irks me to pay $10-$12 per plug. Pulling the mr43’s give me a chance at inspection and compression test just to keep tabs.

Mine always flows through the exhaust, thermostat only controls flow through engine. Thought all Merc set-ups were like this.

Ryanw10 check the wires coming from the pick-up and connecting to module inside dist. I had one corrode away,lose connection, and no spark.

Hydraulic roller is the way to go. I think there are some issues with sub quality parts unfortunately. I would never go back to flat tappet. Either the oil is a problem or cam/lifters are junkc....

I think when you lightly pump the pedal it unlocks the torque convertor. Gives you about 300 RPM and a little extra pull.
