We got called out for a gasoline spill cleanup...

We got called out for a gasoline spill cleanup once. When we got there the guy had stuck the fuel nozzle in the rod holder and pumped 100 gallons of 87 in the bilge.

You can preach all the safety...

Higher oil pressure than water pressure usually keeps the water out. eventually water will work back while not running but im sure he has not run it much.

you could take the belt off the water pump and...

you could take the belt off the water pump and the drain plugs out of the block. If its leaking that bad you should get a drip before the headers get hot. sure sounds like the oil cooler though.

I just moved back from there. Lived there 6 years single and loved it. Don't Live downtown!!!! I lived in Neptune beach (Basically Jax Beach) Its hard to live where you get the best of both...

Change the filter regardless. They get very hard to "suck" through when they are full, but if you have a fuel pump ahead of the filter it can push rite through it.

Squirt it with ether and see if it fires off. I'm betin your not geting fuel. I've had enough fuel in the bowls for the accelerator pump to work (see fuel squirting) but the jets won't pick up.
