Re: Insurance claim help ALLSTATE

I would involve my own ins co as a last resort. The repair shop will make the adjustments you are looking for. No need for your carrier knowing you were in an accident that wasn't your fault. ...

Re: 4x4 Is It Needed

If you don't get 4wd, you will be sorry the first time you get stuck on a wet ramp. The only time I ever use 4wd is on the ramp, but it is worth it. Go for it.

Re: Performance mods for 502

I thought you were dead John. Tell Dave1972 my engines are stock except for the exhaust and Harden Marine flame arrestors. Maybe I should go back to the 28p props. Speeds clocked by gps.

Re: Performance mods for 502

I beg to differ about the exhaust change. I changed to Gil Big Guns and high flow intakes. I started hitting the rev limiters and changed 28 pitch props to 30p. A 72/73mph boat is now 80/81mph...

Re: Freeway Dually questions

Tonto, I bet your 8.2 is really a 8.1 (496). The Allison 1000 transmission is the best thing you can buy for towing.

Re: Ya Have Twins And Ya Loose One ?

I can stay on plane with one engine, but I can't get on plane with one engine. If i burn up a sea pump, I'll use it long enough to get on plane, kill it, and take it out of gear.
