Be very carefull on parts you do find or buy. Parts have been out of the Mercury parts system for a couple of years now.
Parts are no longer available. Same with the #II's, 3's and 5's.

All you need is a Blind Hole Puller set and you got everything you need to pull any Gimbal Bearing. That's all I've ever use. And I do a lot of them.

The only difference from #6 to #8 is the lower heavy duty only. Upper has same parts as #6. Same Trasom assy. lower housing assy. heavier. Otherwise no difference/
