Thanks Okie,
I'm sure glad that Glass Dave took on this project. If there is anyone out there thinking about getting some work done on their boat, I'd definitely reccommend Glass Dave as someone you can trust to look out for your interests even when it inconveniences him and his schedule. He's has been absolutely the best.

What can I expect to pay for a new paint job, some underside rust issues, and new wheel bearings on my triple axle skater trailer?

SS930 12-02-2010 09:23 PM

2,500 - 3,500 would be my WAG.

Brad Zastrow 12-02-2010 09:52 PM

First time I have seen the tunnel pods stick out past the transom. Interesting. Nice project. I am curious to see how quads work on this boat. There was a 35 Motion with quad O/B's that I was close to buying but was told the boat did not handle very well with four props.

you're right, the original set up for triples also had the tunnel pod extending out the same amount. we figured to keep it the same with the quads

I want to use resin coated dyed carbon fiber for my dash and console areas, does anyone have any suggestions or advice on this as well as sources? There's one called composite envisions. I was wondering if anyone has used their services?

glassdave 12-14-2010 03:41 PM

I'm working on getting the gauges ordered as well as the throttle and shift controls changed to Quad. Latham is going to take care of the latter.

Just to give you an idea of how a black carbon dash would look. This pic was taken from Ocean Outboard, NY. This is a 32 Skater Cat with outboards.

Thats cool, is that bungie for hands free throttles or making sure stays in gear during rough water?
