MDG get a buddie to go out with you and take some video. Not for us but your self. See the true running attitude of the boat. My boat running the speedy doesnt react to trim much either so you think but the vids show actually how much boat is in the water, not much. The attitude of these boats is to run flat and not be or feel flighty. Its not going to ever feal like a twin engine that you can over trim and sky the nose, bounce and bounce. Over trimming means just scrubbing speed. Its just a flat runner thats very decieving as far as speed goes. It handles so well you can loose the concept of speed. In the ruff you will love not having to back off the throttles.

Hey gary, going to order some props and 1 spacer this week, the boat handles awesome and rides very neutral with left hand prop, after talking with j-cap boat may respond to spacer my drive is now at 2 bellow bottom, where is yours set?I like to set up my boats for throttle responds and acceleration, the boat now accelerates like a rocket and will be hard to keep up with.I think the boat will end up running around 95 when done, but remember the konrad is alot bigger and heavier than bravo but should be bulletproof behind this engine.I think i would have already blown a bravo with this setup, you can drive boat very aggressive and slam throttles down whenever you want without the fear of boom! The only way to run with this kind of power,a very fun boat. will keep posted on dial in

Hey Dave, I'm heading your way tomorrow morning. I've got spacers in my truck if needed.

Great project, can't wait to see it!

ve,
Glad to hear all is well with your Y2K. #'s are great and I'm sure they'll get better. It's not uncommon to try 20+ props to finally find the 1 that finally works right for your boat.

Dave good to see you at Thursday's today. The 30 is beautiful! Guys, you have to see the rigging in person, 1st class all the way. I'd be happy to help with the video, but my Formula will only keep up till 70 Good luck with the research, seems like you have already made quite a mark at 90 plus with a bullet-proof setup.

How about if you do 70 and Dave does a drive by at 90+. That would be an awesome video. You can upload it onto www.youtube.com
We would love to see a video !!

Sounds like she's running great! I was running 90 all weekend with three buddies and just under a full tank and full cooler. It felt really good when I slowly creeped by that DCB 29 cat in smooth water!

I stopped down at Ocean Performance, our local go fast boat dealer, to pick up a few parts yesterday.
One of the mechanics showed me a set Konrads he is installing on a 42' Fountain to replace the old TRS drives.
Man those are nice pieces!
I'd say Merc has some competition from them for sure.
