Hey rick, the y2k made it into the water today for a shake down run,she ran real sweet, came on plane like a rocket cruising speed was nice 2600rpm 40,3500 rpm 55mph,didn,t run it real hard letting konrad break in a little i did kick it up a little she went over 90 with ease 5600rpm super stable, didn,t trim in out real far needed to see how she felt at speed, was monitoring gauges everything looked good, plenty of water psi and fuel psi, might grind down water pickup a little had 25-27 at 90.I took it out in bay water was rough(storm coming in) the boat handled awesome was running a steady 70-75 boat stayed hooked up real well,6-blade prop never lost its grip the konrad on the box worked great. The boat is a blast to run, lots of throttle response.I will run it some more this weekend get a few hours on konrad then really ring it out,i think my setup is close but will need to try a few different props combo, and some drive spacers to see whats up. Jason and i are really happy with our test run.
