hey stormrider i expect maintainence on drive means changing oil once a season, checkings gears wear after 500hrs and rebuilds maybe after1000hrs ,Konrad has sold a lot of drives to military(heavy abuse) and have gotten crazy amount of logged hours,it is so much more fun running a boat with an outdrive that you can count on getting you home after a hard run.

Hey FX10,
I know you've been waiting a year to know that your redesigned bottom works!
You are the MAN...
Now you just need to get one out there with stock power to see how the new compares to the old...

Dave, Great to hear that she ran soo well. Over 90 @ 5600. I take it you still have about 900 RPM left. Numbers are really impressive. The Y2K loves the snotty stuff. Snotty = faster.
Keep us posted.

Hey rick, got y2k in water today had a blast running her,the boat handles awesome one of the best handling boats out there,We tested some props tried a 30 bravo 4 blade lab went around 91-92 at 5900, also tried a 34 bravo too tight 4900 at 86, I think around a 31-32 bravo lab is going to be the ticket. The 30 pitch felt loose (motor maxes out 5800)the boat i thnk likes the 4-blade better than 6-blade,handling was super tight at speed, will tyr 6-blade again after more seat time. Also i am going to order 1 spacer from konrad,i felt it could maybe add some top end speed, when i did a speed run boat didn't react a whole lot to trim position. The boat is kick ass in the bay we were cruising at 75-80mph over boat wakes and steady chop and never mist a beat, going to take it out tommorrow, might try a5-blade hydromotive and have some more fun. Will keep you posted
