Dave,
Thanks for all of the time you took out of your day to spend time with me and talk to me about your motors. I look forward to doing something with you in the future.

Nice Job Dave! (and Jason). This thread was a great read. No real surprises though, as you have always done real nice work........

90mph, 30' single, NA, and most important - bullet proof setup. The way you can actually drive that boat - every time - should be it's top selling point. I hope you are properly rewarded............

Any idea on total weight for boat??

Found this thread while researching my drive swap issue for this winter - finally lost pressure in my 10 year old Huber 925, and am nursing TRS #5 (combination of last two drives) believe it or not. I've pretty much had it, but was worried about the extra weight and slight power loss of the Konrad setup - but I think even more I miss the dependability of a "matched" setup, and the ability to let it all hang out - often - which I just don't think I can get from swapping to a Bravo..........

Hopefully you'll hear from me this spring on the Konrad........

Hey eddy the Konrad coversion would be perfect on your boat, real simple just bolt it on,no more drive worries and expenses. It weighs about the same as trs, also it raises x up a little might help, just finished a 35 cig a couple of weeks ago worked out good, boat ran about the same or a little faster with the Konrads, rerigging your boat to a bravo would be alot of work and expenses, the Konrad trs coversion would be the way to go

Konrads are great! The only failure Ive EVER heard of is on a 32 Single with 1100HP. Konrad easily has the best drive between XR and 6

Thumbs up

MGD have you started any new konrads with superboat. I am putting one on mine, this fall, another summer gone by, so with new light weight floors and bulkheads about 1100hp min, and a ace hope to break over a 100 with the 24ol. may move up in a year to a y2k 30 or 28 joker or sutphen 31 single depends on who has the best price, I feel all three are nice hulls. so your top speed was 95ish thats great. keep us posted one the next y2k konrad. art

I need to put airtime back together with the ace drive go to loto run the kilo. so were talking fall of 2010. tear all the chit out of the baja dump it for a few bucks or make a bar out of it. still recovering from the knee replacement and need the left one cleaned out and fixed this summer so with being laid up again thats why I bought the konrad , I know a few people that own them and with the DEAN GELLNER blower motor my new bx drive will not hold up. its early spring I am still a part[body and mind] and the boat has been for the last 3 years.. I can't believe its 09 and I got hurt in 04 and had 5 operations from 6/04 to 9/08 and there both still phucked up and I tryed 4 doctors.meaning they each operated once. boy was this useless info. sorry.

its the way to go the xfactor drive is shorter than the stock konrad drive and WITH IT BEING SHORTER you might pick up speed over the trs. thats what I bought but I got the bravo conversion the ace xfactor. you will be happy knowing you can get back to the ramp at the end of the day.
