John, what size is your 4 blade bravo ??? I also use a 29" 4 Blade Labed Bravo with nice results. I'm sure coen will get you a deal on any Merc. Products. :D
Nice propeller The barricuda is a nice propeller I read about it sounds good from what I gather about $1900.00
seems like they have a nice line of props to check-out
I wonder if the baracuda is one of their new CNC props? your going to need a good base line before you order one of those for 1900. Ive heard alot of good thing about Matt and Julie. Never worked with them before myself.
If there gonna let you try a few sizes and 4-5-6 blade props do it !!!!
hydromotive was the first choice that I originally was going to check out
Z I dont know about CNC props
Coen should have a few B-4's laying around, we ran all over the Great South Bay with his 30"
Looks like Throttle-up is CNC prop
Superbabi if the 525 white y2k gets out soon maybe the owner will be testing some props with the identical bottom and power as mine at least that was what I was hoping for...
Wonder why JC is not running a 3 - Blade on his Y2K if he thinks they might perform so well??? HMMMM???

To get enough blade area on a 3 blade to push a 30' single engine boat, the prop would have to be vary large in diameter. Just ask Zuperboat; his wheel is like ø18". Can't fit one of those on a Bravo drive though... |
Superbabi you asked about my prop from my last boat. It went with the boat...
Rick, Did JC decide to put the deck on the hull today??? I guess I will see you tommorrow at the shop... Should be a great day to assemble a Y2K
JC has said the same to me about three blades. I just think its Old-Timers disease, going back to the day....:D
Hdromotive P-5x is probably the prop for me, after 24hrs of talking about it, this time alone and not being a speed freak only, I want to get agressive also... I think Rick has learned from a little birdy a little about how agressive I am sometimes... Stories Pop-up...
Obviousely, You made it home Before me. See ya tomorrow.
Lets see... Thers a cockpit outside in the back... a deck in the rigging area and a hull in the shop??? I wonder how to get this puzzle solved???
Ok, lets get it straight cockpit goes in hull then deck goes on top
Lets see I think I will push hull back a little and push the cockpit liner over by the hull...
Lets see I think I will move the hull back a bit and slide the cockpit liner over by the hull
Oh I gotta lift the deck op a bit so I can slide the hull under it I think
OK, I guess while Im not doing much I think I should throw the liner into the hull...
Wow that wasnt bad, I thought it was going to be a bit heavyer... Hope JC dont find out what Im upto!!! all right now to put the pieces together
Looks like it might use a little adjustment, JC would probably like to do that himself
Rick so how am I doing???
Thanks Rick for coming in on Saturday and letting me help you on the build... JC will apreciate the extra room that he now has...
LOOKS AWESOME !!!!! You can always count on Rick to pull things together !!!!!! :D John make sure Rick did't use Crazy Glue to put her together.................lol lol !!!!!
Only SUPERGLUE for a SUPERBOAT.... But from my experiance Duct Tape will be used too... Somewhere, Some How it always comes down to Duct Tape...
Thats one wat to keep the cost down...Sh!t now that I think of it, when I pitched in to help JC wanted to charge me more!
Thats why JC was not there... Rick offered to come in today and assemble the boat.with me... The hull and deck were pulled from the mold 4-19-07 so I needed to get it together... Im sure JC will have his comments... He will probably try to charge me more too... But "Its all good"

Hmmmmmmmmmm, now you need him to drop in the 525 and what else ????? Remember KISMIT INN IS OPEN !!!!!!! lol lol !!!:drink: :drink: :drink:
Next is to adjust the deck on the hull and start the rub rail installation, that gets hull and deck lined-up... Then start glassing it together starting at the engine compartment, once the glass is done in the engine compartment then that rigging can start back there... He could install the K-planes and drive gimbal and external steering anytime... Hes got to complete the new seat molds and make the seats so that the apolsterer can cover them... ect... ect.. ect... Also I dont like the ignition bezel he put in, Im gonna be getting that swapped-out... Yea I think Im gonna be busy for the next couple of weeks... Remember I too frequent the INN, as a matter of fact I usual sit just to the right of JC in the picture you just posted supebabi...

Whats the Barcardi Special - would that be the name of a boat that one of our favorite boat builders may own??? Spoke to JC about the Deck installation by Rick and I on Saturday, I was kinda disappointed that he didnt have any complaints on how we assembled it... I had all the excuses and denials all ready...
