Rick, cant believe you trimmed the cockpit liner, re-aligned the deck, thru-bolted and SUPERGLUED the deck to the hull and started installing the rub-rail today... Your new assistant must be assisting away... Cant wait to see the stainless rail go on and the engine compartment glassed and gelcoated...

Steve, you found the post... Yes theres a lot of B.S. on the Thread... Of course you guys can get a ride... As far as addressing the faster issue, well looks as if your lift is as Sad and Lonely as mine at this point... So I guess we will have to have a swim-off...

Very good! I am sure I float better than you, but equaly as sure you could swim faster!! LOL, the lift is empty, but that should be fixed tomorrow... We'll see.

Glad you shopped here, I think this is a great choice... Love Superboats, and it's a good Long Island family.

H2oscene 05-22-2007 05:39 AM

Yes nolimits Ive known JC for years and talked about building a Superboat... Just love the 24s and the new and old 30s... buying a boat is good, having one built is priceless...

H2oscene 05-22-2007 05:41 AM

Cant wait to see your fountain back in town... Not to much in the water around here yet... This weekend should be the start... And we can see witch is faster the floater or the swimmer...

Superbabi 05-22-2007 04:33 PM

:D Whats going on ????? Are ya rigged yet, its gonna be a great weekend !!!! :D

H2oscene 05-22-2007 04:57 PM

Rick, another fine day at the shop... I was really suprised when I saw the stainless steel rub-rail in place... Its getting close to getting the engine compartment finished for JC...

z.zuperboat 05-22-2007 06:27 PM

Steve we know you really wanted a Superboat ! And the only reason you have a Fountain is because your better half is such good friends with Reggie ! Whats going on my friend. Looks like its going to be an expensive summer for twins.

I would love a Superboat. Fact is my kids are ready to let the 16' Whaler Dauntless go in favor of a "speed" boat with a big outboard..... Hmmm..... What to look for.... :D

As far as Kelly and Reggie go, he would need lots of those little pills to keep up. I'll just leave that right there.

As far as expensive year for twims goes.... I'll just close my eyes and sign away...

Ok, now the boating seasons starting I saw a zuperboat cruisin and nolimits fountain is in, not to mention the other performance boats flyin around... Guess I will be seeing JC this afternoon... If I dont have a boat, I guess my hobby will be to get one built... At least the white 30 y2k getting rigged ahead of me is heading out the door today...

z.zuperboat 05-25-2007 08:22 AM

Yup Im In The Water . Hoping To Get To The Air Show This Weekend.
It Has To Be A Great Feeling To Be Part Of The Build. Better Than Just Pictures.

H2oscene 05-25-2007 04:51 PM

Went to the air show in the Ocean off Jones Beach last year and the jets passed overhead about 100ft. OPENED-UP... Talk about power... But back to my new hobby stopped by JCs once again today and helped clean-up the white y2k that is headed out..... "Rumer" has it the new hull design is working and may be faster than antisipated, last I saw JCs he was going to confirm speedo numbers with GPS tonight...

H2oscene 05-26-2007 10:42 AM

Just saw JC headed out on the Bacardi Special... FROM MY DOCK!!! Saw the white Y2K doing the gps run yesterday evening, no posts onthe results yet??? Guess I will have to hitch a ride to the INN

May have to finish the boat myself...LOL

z.zuperboat 05-27-2007 05:16 AM

Hope you got a key!! Did they forget to tell you the shop closes on memorial day and reopen labor day. All depends on how many snow days they use over the winter.

H2oscene 05-27-2007 11:00 AM

JC is actually now trying to get the boat together, ever since I went in last Saturday and put it together he is actually pushing the construction (I dont want to push him to much because the boat does not leave the shop without being perfect)... I also have an update "a little bird" told me that the white Y2K new with the new bottom and a HP525 spinning a 4-blade bravo 28 GPS'ED @ 82mph 5400rpm with 4-adults and full fuel friday evening... FX get your computer fixed, I need confirmation on stuff like this...

Damn, I'll send him my laptop in order to confirm this. It's issues like this that make considering a used boat useless.:evilb:

H2oscene 05-27-2007 03:33 PM

The 30 Y2K no matter which hull is a great boat... New with the HP525 Hydro steering ect...ect... It is over a hundred grand... For less than half the you can be in that used Y2K with the 496mag and have it worked... But of course you can never beat having a new boat built and they are a lot less expensive with the basics like the 496 mag which also has a factory warranty... Its hard to beat that package...

I agree--I have emailed Dave to get more pics and ask further details and he said the pics in these classifieds are all he has. To me, it's hard to consider a 45000 purchase on pics of a boat in the water, no interior pics. I have responded to find further details of his set up, steering, mounts, etc, etc. I definitely would love to buy an 05 496mag, I have a friend with a whipple that I can trade for some motorcycle parts I have. Now I just need a boat to put it in.

fastedy 05-27-2007 08:16 PM

I heard 84, witch is it?

H2oscene 05-28-2007 08:42 AM

Gotta get back-up information, I will be at Superboat tommorrow after work... Ill get the full scoop...

Rick, very nice #'s from a 525 !!!!! As usual you are the driving force behind Superboat !!!!!!:D

H2oscene 05-29-2007 05:02 AM

So with 20 gallons of fuel and one person???

H2oscene 05-29-2007 05:11 AM

that would be less 3-adults at 190 + 70 extra gallons of gas = an extra 1100lbs. +-
