Look forward to seeing how this set up performs. There aren't a lot of 300R V bottom twin rigs yet and this will be a good standard to work from. :ernaehrung004:

I’m liking the “aft cabin” or is that the dance floor?:party-smiley-048: Ballast tank looks awesome. Jr’s redone dash’s came out nice Rick. His boat is really starting to come together. |

Build is looking awesome Superstitious. What is your anticipated date?
Congratulations. |
Thank You! I paid Superboat a visit yesterday. A lot of activity centered around John jr’s boat, in an attempt to splash it. As far as mine, I would assume a couple months out, but again motors may not be available till fall so there it will sit. Now that John jR’s boat is out, there is some freed up space. Not much more to do on the hull. Then we can pull the hull and the deck out of the molds and put together. John and I have been discussing how he will be modifying his current mold for the transom piece for under the I/o swim platform and turn it into a one piece outboard bracket which is a great idea and should Look awesome as well as create some ballast for the stearn! Next issue is on chasing the trailer manufacture to get that on premises. He’s been dragging his feet a bit. Already have been in touch with Phil at P&G canvas. He is a master of his trade and he’s done several of my boats before. Discussed my ideas with John on the interior and keeping the interior simple with a black and white motif with some diamond stitching in the seats, nothing extravagant. |

Will they be running it this weekend?
|
That was the intent, it was all asses and elbows when I showed up there Friday in an attempt to get it out, they had to weld a bung in the header to install an O2 sensor for the fuel injection. Zul was on standby with laptop to dial in after I was told. |
Forward berth in in. Made Potty enclosure and sanded the dance floor in the stern. Almost time to gelcoat.:cool-smiley-027:https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...01bfb8d685.jpg

The dance floor looks great , perfect location for the stripper pole Rick!!!!:bunnydance::p
The 21 CC in the background is such a nice boat. I had a chance to eyeball it up close. Rick snap some pics of that please. Whats Johns price point on that again? |
Think the hull in the background is the 21 Eltro redo...
|
Gary
here's a few pics of the 207 (20'7"). And yes it's the ELTRO hull. I made a mold for a rear bench with a well. Really nice hull.https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...3f07eeb1fa.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...20e50797a7.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...eeb39c489c.jpg |

Deck is sprayed. |
My boats really coming along. Quite excited to see the progress to say the least. I appreciate the updates Rick as my baby comes to life, and documenting the process is very special to me. The 21 Eltro will make a sweet center console for not a lot of bucks. Quite a sharp bow entry on it and an abundance of freeboard makes it quite appealing. |
One thing that I have been meaning to ask, being this is a twin O/B rig; there aren't any transom knees used? No need for them?
|

Well, that answers that. :ernaehrung004:

Deck is out of the mold. Have a lot of moving around to do to make room for the hull. Hopefully today it gets pulled. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...c045dd5cbd.jpg

As requested, the gloss white and the additional sanding during the prep looks fantastic Rick!!! Should make everything muck easier to keep spotless for sure, much appreciated! I've got ideas for some Marine Mat for the cabin floor as well as the "Dance Floor", once we get things laid out...

Got the deck flipped on the cradle. |
That’s a beautiful sight. |
Looks fantastic Gary. Going to be a great boat for you. Fast, dif different and no inboards...Clean...
|
Thanks Cary. Any day now Rick will be pulling the hull, flip it over and blueprint the bottom if required. :food-smiley-007: |

You know, I wasn’t sure if four or five handles would look best. I bought 5 just just in case as there is a considerable amount real estate out front. Looks like you made the decision for me Rick. Tucking the fifth one back between the canopies will kind of conceal it a bit. I think i’m digging it. |
As a reminder Rick there is a sixth grab bar that if you recall I mentioned I’d like to have installed on the passenger side dashboard down low, where you would usually mount one. |

I remember Gary. I also remember you saying that you wanted the rear grab handles and cup holders in different spots. Need to touch base on those.
https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...38c263be55.png out perfectly for the rear passengers) and want to do the same other than moving the cupholders forward of the handle at the end of the armrest please. |
