Thanks Pat! Yeah, load it on Rick!! :) Can anyone (Rick??) tell how far out this is from completion? JC still wno't gve me any timing, and I have trips in late August and early September to work around, so I need all the guessing I can muster. Looking at trailers today, hope to purchase (order).

I can smell the fiberglass from Texas.......

- I'm heading to SB next week... I promise. So close but so far, I gotta guestimate 100% completion by looks of pics, my experience & 1 manpower(there were 2-4 SB men there when my 24 was being done) - minimum 8 weeks. (It would be OK if I was wrong).
- Easy with the "loading it on"...we still want her light and fast!!!

Thanks Bash, yeah I'm getting that idea too on timing. Let me know what you hear if you get by there this week - I think it myay be time to pop the hull, but not sure. I'm headed out to do tune ups to the cruiser, thanks!

-BTW... you mentioned you were getting the trailer. To save yourself alot of grief & potential damage to your hull...Make sure the bunk setup is compatible with the 30's stepp. I re-engineered & fabricated mine to properly support my hull. (Used treated 2x10x12's sistered together & carpeted(*note I added 2x4 for stepp)). Got the idea from the ROCKET JC uses for the Y2K's.

Nice mods on the trailer Superbash. I think I need to do the same. I have two sets of 2"6" bunks. The rear bunks do not support my hull like they should. I'll have to go out and take some pics. Is you trailer a Load Rite?

Dave...it's a Venture(I think you remember the trailer bunk dilema I was in when I first got the boat). This is before & after. Originally 3x6 lumber on edge(not good for the 24's deep V, would hit crossmember) I went with the (2) 2x10's on each side. I believe your trailer bunk config. is with the boards laying flat(6" side) against the hull?

Wow! Pretty pretty!!!! I'm off traveling and ended up having to stay through this weekend and next week doing 24 hr coverage at work - nice to know this is what I'm doing all this for!!!

Hot dang Rick you've done it again!!!! Man that is gorgeous!!!!!!! She looks fast just hangin' around there! I am so ready...................you do nice work - looks awesome with the nose peeking out from the shop; too cool, too cool. Ordering a Rolls Axle trailer and contacting some local graphics folks - not sure if George is gonna call me one day or not to get that ball rolling!

So, are you keeping that mold wet still, another one on the way????

I cant see the axels on that trailor, but I had to make cutouts above the axels to allow them to float up and down.

Here it is Thursday, and I thought you could use a coming home present. How bout a few more pics. Bob and I put your wind screen on this afternoon. Also got the cockpit liner in the hull. The engine hatch on your deck is for that twin engine 30'. I figured it wouldn't get scratched up there.
