SAWEEEEET!!!!!!!!!!
Me and Mrs are all smiles!! Man is that gorgeous!!!! Ok, the friend is married, sorry (you like the tats, huh?!?), but our area is target-rich. Maybe a cliche and a thread starter, but I travel a lot and always like returning to Texas for all its eye candy. Having a snazzy boat never hurts either.........:) Way to go Superboat guys!!!!! John thanks for keeping the mill running! Rick, what can I say - too cool, can't wait to shake your hand, thanks! Keith |

Re: New SB 30 ordered
OMG you guys crack me up. Okay here is a good question. Are there more Superboats in the state of Minnesota than there are miss usa/america winners?

Keith,
SOme more pics of your boat. Hull to deck joint is glassed, bulkheads are glassed and the cabin interior is gelcoated. Engine compartment is also done as far as glass work is concerned. John has started the rigging. Tabs are on , along with the pumps. Tuesday we will probable bring the boat to the rigging shop for John to finish up. Rick |

Re: New SB 30 ordered
Wow!! Looking more and more like a boat all the time!! Awesome, thanks Rick, John!
RA and I drove to Florida this weekend to face Frances and pick up our trailer. We didn't know if we would be able to get into the Tampa area and back out before the hurricane hit, but we had to try due to timing. As it turns out, the weather gods smiled and we got the perfect window. No rain and the winds and clouds didn't start up in Plant City Florida until we left at noon on Saturday! I'll post a few pictures soon, but if any of you are in the market for a new trailer, please let me know as my new Rolls Axle Trailer is quite a work of engineering!! This trailer is built beyond anything else I have seen and I am working with them to possibly represent them in my area. Looks like the next trip will soon be to NY!! Can't wait - we are going to want to do a shake down run with some folks up there, hopefully the weather gods will continue to smile! Anybody in for another run to Miss Liberty? We would love to get photos of our boat in front of the Statue of Liberty before we head back to Texas. If all goes well we'll try to arrange it so we have a free Saturday in NY whenever JC says 'come get her'!! |
Re: New SB 30 ordered
Hey Krac i am needing a trailer got some pics?

Here's some photos of the trailer - 7000# capacity, all SS hubs, brakes, hardware and lifetime patended springs. The only carbon steel on this baby is the lugs to prevent galling! LED lights and spare hub. The bunks are cut from the CENTER CORE of cypress (minimum 35-40 year life) and the bunks use a patended adjustment system to allow complete adjustablitiy. Awesome work, see them at:
http://www.rollsaxle.com/ JCap - I have some more info, PM me and we can get together. Keith |
Re: New SB 30 ordered
Keith,
From what I see, the bunks need to be moved in and raised. Remember this hull is a 24 degree hull. DEEP VEEEEEEE. I hope the bunks raise high enough. Aside from that, the trailer looks awesome. I'll have move pictures for ya tomorrow. Rick |
Re: New SB 30 ordered
PS
I think you should have had RA standing next to the trailer. I need some motivation!!!! LOL |
Re: New SB 30 ordered
Actually, we're working on those pix, you read our minds!! Ha!
Rolls called JC and then set the bunks to 24 degrees, so I think the photos give a little optical illusion. You and I will get to re check them I'm sure :)! |

I took it upon myself to upgrade the cabin door support with a gas charged support. It works awesome. I'm sure I can retrofit the existing Y2K doors with it.

Re: New SB 30 ordered
Yeah Now that's at I'm talking about! Looks great! Simple, sturdy and easy - yea Rick!
|
Re: New SB 30 ordered
Innovation, synonymous with SUPERBOAT
|
Re: New SB 30 ordered
FX,
Is that door support going to be included on my Y2K as standard equipement??? :) |

Come on...You can tell me. You ordered one? Spill the beans on the details. |
Re: New SB 30 ordered
Super,
I'm so damn close it hurts. All I need is a few days off to get to the factory to confirm the quality ect... I hate being boatless! It's worse than not gettin any! Anyone have one runnin near tripple digits yet? Stable? |
Re: New SB 30 ordered
The support is going to be standard equip on all Y2K's. We're ready to start laying up your hull.
