I had posted that i wanted to sell it about a year ago and never got any intrest untill thursday.

Those things cost alot more than boats do......

1. life insurance triples in cost if not cancelled
2. annuals every year $5k-10k
3. hanger expenses $12k per year
4. normal upkeep of an old ass plane that has to be performed by an A&P mechanic....mucho dinero...

Compared to appromiately the same cost as an older powerboat to buy it.

Paying storage all ready, avgas is allmost the same price as premium. I allready spend 5k a month on maintenance. Don't see the problem.

go rent a plane and pay the instructor. If you think it is for you then buy a plane after about 10 hours flighttime and rent it back to the flightschool. Your flight time is pretty much free, or close to it and someone else does the maintenance.....Just promise me, you won't do any engine work on it .. :evilb: :evilb:

Tom, did any of your pics have us all tied up at the island? I took my boat pics to kinko's, you couldn't tell. They have a big azz machine to copy them. We use them for all our plats, some VERY big!

I am going back to golf. I amortized the cost comparison. I could buy a new set of the top of the line golf clubs svery 2 weeks for the rest of my life, and it would still be cheaper than boats or planes.
