that depends on how you define good. Yes we are having a good time, but it was long and costly getting here :ernaehrung004::hitfan::cool-smiley-027:

Trojan-man 10-13-2007 06:36 PM

spick1 ate 27 plates of food during 3 buffet trips :D

THLWL 10-13-2007 07:57 PM

Sunday morning is the big brunch buffet. You can even get crawfish in your omlette. Very good eats. Awesome day on CLear Lake today - lots of boats out.

6 boats left for a 3 hour tour.......3 Fountains, 2 Baja’s,
1 Nor-tech. Pulled out of Kemah at 10:50am …Only 2 arrived under full power..:violent-smiley-045:
At 9PM….And none of them were Fountains……:hitfan:

But we had a great time getting there....

BY U BOY 10-14-2007 03:23 PM

What a great time! Boating, gambling and drinking does it get any better than that.

JoeW let all of the casino know that he takes it in the can:hitfan:

:cool-smiley-027:We thought the Fountain crew stopped for a cigarrette break a quarter a mile ahead when the Baja crew saw the Fountain engulfed in smoke.

FYI......bottled water and can beer does not work on oil fires.....but the Baja didn't mind sharing the fire extinguisher.:hitfan:

It's a good thing that Fountain had oars on board and crew members that new how to use them as demonstrated to the Baja Crew as they passed us.........cause they sure came in handy when the Baja was leading the Fountain the last 15 miles to the casino in the dark. Of course, we were pretty impressed you could paddle a steady 10 mph that last 15 miles.

Since we had ice chests from all the abandoned and stripped boats, we had plenty of drinks to last the 3 hour tour that turned into a 10 hour party. And had a lot of fun doing it!:ernaehrung004:

Always Late 10-14-2007 05:29 PM

We left Clear Lake with 6 other boats and only the captain and co-captain on the 342 Baja. Arrived in Lake Charles with 6 additional passengers. Left Lake Charles with only our boat and one additional passenger (one boat stayed behind to gamble more). We arrived safely back in Clear Lake in 3 hours leaving our new boatless, carless friends behind at Lake Charles. We even got off plane, to once again perform a rescue operation of a small fishing vessel from being run over by a east bound barge in the intracoastal. We may be Always Late.....but are never last.

wstultz 10-14-2007 06:52 PM

Friggin awesome time. Tom happy bachelor party.....good choice, one vagina for the rest of your life.:D

James and Tami, thanks for picking our a$$es up and puttin up with our drunk ramblings. Had a great time and love your boat.

Thanks for everything you guys did for us. You guys are a class act all the way. It takes a real good guy to pick up a bunch of drunks and a cabin fulll of gear and take them 100miles to a casino.

That BAJA did pretty damn good running 65mph with 8 people, 2 sets of golf clubs and 15 suitcases in the cabin.

Anytime you need us to get your boat all dirty and burn some gas let us know. :ernaehrung004::hitfan:

Send us a fuel or detailing bill and I'll be happy to take up a collection because I am sure that boat got a lot dirtier than you planned. Or if you want me to send our detailing guy down there I would be more than happy to do that for ya.

It'll be great to take a bunch of boats that will stay running on that run one day.

:boat:

SCORECARD:

Blown boat engines - 2

Engine fires - 1

Used fire extinguishers - 3

Broke drives - 1

Broke Trannies - 1

Broke azz mo- fo's who had way to good of a time - 26

Grand total of money lost and cost to repair everything that was broken, and gratuties, and bar tabs - to big to count

Having Joew tell the whole Casino that they take it in the can - PRICELESS

Watching Bigandy pass out in an innertube and float around the lazy river - Better than Priceless

What a hell of a weekend. :party-smiley-048::circle:

jeff1000man 10-14-2007 07:05 PM

James, when I was packing up the Hotel room I found one of ya'lls wind breakers. PM me your address and I will have it mailed down there, or you guys can pick it up if ya'll come this way.

Jeff, hurry up and throw that video on here. Doesn't need to be anything special, just get it cut and throw the Gilligan song on it.

Add one more Fountain to the list. We got back to Clear Lake, Friday night and have a bad knock in the starboard engine and oil in the bilge. On the bright side, found the problem with the gauges going out, it was the main plug to the smartcraft system had come loose. Wish we could have finished the trip, you guys are great, thanks for all of the help.

I left a pair of boat shoes in the room along with a pair of Wiley X sunglasses...anybody seen them?:cool-smiley-026:

I got the shoes in my bag. Thought maybe they were SPK1" to go with that black shirt he always wears. I didn't see any glasses. Call the hotel and tell them you left them in 1660 and you would like them shipped home.

I guess going back home was a good call. Great looking boat in the rough stuff. Hope it goes back together easy.

jeff1000man 10-15-2007 09:37 AM

I think we should make the run again very early in the season next year. If the boats make it through that run, then they won't break all year. If they break, then you know you needed to go ahead and find a ride for the season.

BY U BOY 10-15-2007 09:39 AM

I'm just glad we are not reading about 2 kids and their mother being run over by an oncoming barge.

Just bring 14 inflatable rafts to put all of the golf clubs and Lefty in and we can just string them out behind the boat.
