What happened with that ?? Did it bring back flashbacks ??
A boat with 2 kids and their mother(no life jackets on the kids)flags us down in galveston. One kid is all in a panic because of the barge that was coming but they were fine. As james pulls in so i can get them a line the kid pulls up the anchor:violent-smiley-045:So now with the wind blowing like it was we have no chance of getting to them. The barge is closing in on us quick. James realizes that we can't help them with out putting our lives in risk so he backs out of the way of 60k tons just in time for us to yell for the kids to put on some life jackest and sit on the floor. If this would have happened 30second sooner the would have been run over instead of bouncing off the side of the barges. The barge was able to come to a stop after creating a 20' wide whirlpool from the full throttle reverse we pulled them to safety and were on our way back home. |

I guess going back home was a good call. Great looking boat in the rough stuff. Hope it goes back together easy.
I have the 2 header bolts, where can I send them or drop them off. Thanks again for the help. |

I am taking it in to CLPBS next week to see exactly what is going on. Very strange. The oil was splashed up around the top of the dipstick tube. About a quart in the bilge. Everything else looked dry. I don't know how it could have gotten there. The knock sounds like valve train, but not sure.

That has to be one of the best (most expensive) weekends I've ever had ! Thanks Louie and everyone else for a great time !!!! And who said it would be cheaper to boat to L'auberge than to fly to Vegas????
I'd do it again in a heart beat! :party-smiley-048: P.S. Gerritm, don't sweat the header bolts, we have tons of them. Throw them in your tool bag, you'll need again! them somebiatches always come loose! |

:evilb::evilb::evilb: And don't mess with SPF shocker paste, or he will be giving you the shocker directly.... Let's see. Nice quiet sea food dinner out with friends and neighbors all of a sudden interrupted by 3 very loud powerboats full of drunks falling into the water and pulling down chain link fences and throwing jello shots to their customers. |

Fence repair on isle 4. I am sure Esther's sea food has never had a floor show like the one they saw outside their windows on Friday.

Sounds like ya'll had a blast!! Anybody get any strange?
We went to the Austin in the water boatshow and saw the new Fountain 2008 Lightning w/ 700's and #6's. Along w/ lots of cruisers and a lot of tipsy puzzy. Each boat dealer was pouring wine like water. Went on the $1.5M Cranchi yacht, and was sitting in the drivers seat when one of those tipsy 20 year olds came out of the cabin and said "I think my parents are going to buy this boat". I said great then you can take me for a ride. She then smiled and fell down the steps and tumbled over ripping her sheer leopard skirt and landed with her azz and puzzy staring me right in the face pale skin no tan lines. I asked her if she needed any help and she said yes so I pulled her up and the skirt fell off and her body was great and I wish I would have been single and a little younger but the view was good so I guess I didn't make out too bad!! |
