I had Alpha drives for 11 years from '93 - '04 with small block 350 Mag packages and no trouble whatsoever. Remember in the mid 90's they tried a few big block 454's with the Alpha and they ran great unless the owners insisted on frequent jackrabbit starts when the housings of the Alpha's would twist. But there is no problem at all with small blocks. :drink:

wtf my mom just called me to tell me my father just got out of surgery. I had no idea he was going in.

One of my friends dad switched doctors a year and a half ago, and when they transferred the x-rays, the new dr. found a what he thought was a cancerous tumor 3inches wide in his chest xray. Sad thing was the chest x-ray was from 4 years back. Immediately the new dr. took xrays and found the 3in tumor had grown to the size of a volleyball, :eek:, Dr. gave him less than a year to live, and told him that he thought fighting it with kemo, might just make his last months on earth miserable,,,,, His dad decided to fight,, and three months ago the growth was fought down to the size of a marble, and the cancer is now in remission. So keep up the hope, should he find something bad,, tell him to FIGHT it no matter what!!!!! Seems like cancer treatment has made some very good advancements over the years.

LOS ANGELES - Longtime "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek was hospitalized Tuesday after a minor heart attack, a spokesman for the game show said.

Trebek, 67, was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center late Monday night and was expected to remain there about two days for tests and observation, said show spokesman Jeff Ritter.

"Thankfully it was a minor heart attack," Ritter said. He did not give other details.

A post on the official "Jeopardy!" Web site said Trebek was "resting comfortably in a Los Angeles hospital, and he will be back in the studio for the next scheduled tapings in January." His heart attack was first reported by "Entertainment Tonight."

The Canadian-born Trebek has hosted the syndicated show since 1984. He has won several daytime Emmy Awards for his work and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Trebek escaped a car crash unhurt in 2004 when he fell asleep at the wheel, sideswiped a string of mailboxes and wound up in a ditch, according to the California Highway Patrol.
