Actually I never offered that low. Insurance is a problem on it as well. They want 5-6% of the hull value for the premium. Pretty stupid if you ask me, but, oh wait, I am in the insurance business, so it doesn't have to make sence.

I really wished I had enough cash to buy this so I could keep it in the family.

70K boat 4200 insurance. That sucks. I never even tried lower than 60K and was given the verbal finger.

To old, and the stupid speed calculator from Markel says that it is 110mph boat. I don't see it, but whatever.

I don't see how they come up with that formula.....Hell I pay just over $1200.00 per year even with the increased HP. I guess they know.

Did you tell them you were going to go through the power and beef it up a little? That should get the max speed about 63mph.....
