I don't know how I got the low baller rap, considering I have paid asking price for the lst 3 boats I have bought and will probably be paying it for the next one.

A farmer was selling his peaches door to door. He knocked on a door and a shapely 30 something woman dressed in a very sheer negligee answered the door. He raised his basket to show her the peaches and asked, 'Would you like to buy some peaches?'

She pulled the top of the negligee to one side and asked, 'Are they as firm as this?'

He nodded his head and said, ' Yes ma'am,' and a little tear ran from his eye.

Then she pulled the other side of her negligee off asking, 'Are they nice and pink like this?'

The farmer said, 'Yes,' and another tear came from the other eye.

Then she unbuttoned the bottom of her negligee and asked, 'Are they as fuzzy as this?'

He again said, 'Yes,' and broke down crying.

She asked, 'Why on earth are you crying?'

Drying his eyes he replied, 'The drought got my corn, the flood got my soy beans, a tornado leveled my barn, and now I think I'm gonna get focked out of my peaches.'

Guy says he has an offer in at 18K with no trailer:eek:

I told him I would give asking price so I wouldn'd be the low baller, but I guess it was all ready to low.

It would have fit on the Magnum trailer fo sho.

I have almost every part to build that boat too, if any of you guys want to go partners and figure out how to get it bought right, but I think 18K is way to much, or he is full of chit.

I didn't see a "asking price" I saw a minium bid.

I know you are not in the retail business. But those are two different starting points. Don't go throwing away your low ball hat yet.......:evilb::evilb::evilb:

Ive looked at this boat three times now, the first time was when me creed and chad were out there, It looks pretty clean,,in person,, the cushins just neeed a real good scrubbing, the hull and sides look great, not a scratch,, and it would look pretty new just a basic cleaning, I didnt check out the cabin,, but I think this baja has the feel of a bigger boat, The engines are all there, I think a tune up or something basic is what it needs, but I dont know forsure,, I would have bought it already if I had a place to keep and use it, If your really looking jeff, I give you permission to lowball them at 23 or 24k,, I think that will get it. U have to submit it as a formal offer, and in person, to get through the salesman jerking you off with the we have an offer on that boat crap,, but anyway,, when you guys get here we will do a field trip to national marine liq,

spk1 02-04-2009 06:10 PM

On a side note, if you have a sixpack, a sleeveless T,, and a gold chain,, I hear your preapproved for financing on a baja, :evilb:,

At least that car isn't GAY. Oh, wait, that is the coolest car that can be owned.

Probably costs the same.

I am wondering though. Going from purple to yellow is a pattern isn't it?
