I do mine every 5K with syn blend. Lincoln MKT- 26K miles. No drive train issues so far. I see about 19 combined MPG. Of course I don't tow with it, but I drive really fast on the hwy.

Seeing two more trucks like the wife's at the Ford dealer I stopped to get a closer look. Initially I thought the only difference between Max Tow and just the Heavy Duty Tow package was the Dumbo ears, but closer scrutiny revealed a difference in the 275/55-20 Pirrelli tires. The Max Tow got the Scorpion ATRs and the Heavy Duty got the Pirrelli STR tires...looking at the specifications they look similar, but I'm wondering if the ATRs have greater sidewall support to reduce swaying?
Anyways we just got back from a 1,100 mile round trip pulling 10,500 pounds and I couldn't be more pleased with the truck. The one big change between the 6.4 TD I pulled with before and the EB was the engine brakes, safe to say the 3.5L has none. So as a result I put an electric over hydraulic actuator on the tongue of the trailer so I'm not getting my ass pushed in every time I'm trying to stop
The trip was Chicago to LOTO and the temps over the trip were consistently triple digits. Anyone that knows the area is familiar with the changes in elevation and the twisty roads as you get closer to Osage Beach. Although the picture below shows south of 8 MPG, we averaged almost 9 MPG over the duration of the pull.

nice. I installed air lift bags dont know if that helps. I see your going about 75, which if you dropped her down to just under 70 I bet you would bump up a few. But I did better at 68 then i did with 66mph. My trailer and boat though has never been one to like going over 70 dont matter what truck was in front of it.

Yeah, I got the best mileage around 70 MPH, but my biggest concern was the difference in tires from the ATR to the STR and how that may change towing characteristics. With the 250 TD, I could pull at 80+ and it felt stable and true, but with the 150 anything over 70 felt uncomfortable. The wife wants a taller profile anyways, so I think some 275/65s x 20 might be on the shopping list.

The engine breaking on the eco was a huve upgrade compared to my old 5.4L. It doesnt engine break like a 6.4 or any other diesel though which i think is what the other poster meant.

No your right but its pretty close, i just dont think the truck has the extra 2000lbs like a diesel to help it, but it works pretty good on mine.
