Yes, I have a permanent cell number (3 of them actually)...

But, I made the awful mistake of posting one of my cell numbers on a sled site, for similar reasons, when I was doing some business in the Upstate N.Y. (Messina) and Montreal, Quebec area...

Beautiful area...St Lawrence Seaway...and I've done some sledding in the Mexico/Tug Hill area...But, I really wanted to do some sledding with some of the local rock & rollers...

Unfortunately, if you don't say/post something that makes everyone happy, then you will get those few knuckleheads who decide that they will extract their vengeance via spam &/or harassing calls...

Similar to the opposing political banter on the OSO site...

So, I'd rather supply the number personally...

Better yet, I think I better buck up, get serious and become a paying member of the OSO community...

Then I can send PM's...

I've just started posting recently and wanted to wait and determine why some are refusing to renew their membership or were kicked off the board before I do...

BTW...are you anywhere near the Winthrop Harbor area???

I enjoy being a boating ambassador and meeting good people, no matter where they are in the world...

I am about 1.5 hrs from Winthrop Harbor. I sold my boat in June, may get back in after economy smooths out. Lot's of good folks in Winthrop and the WI-Chicago areas.

In a former life, I used to visit the Janesville, Wi. GM plant weekly...

Since I love to travel and explore...I used to detour to Milwaukee and follow the coast/shoreline both north & south...

Great area...very interesting and very beautiful...

I especially like the Sturgeon Bay, Green Bay, Manitowoc and Sheboygan areas...(I'm into big boats also...Burger, Palmer Johnson, etc...)

In fact, pulling the offshore to Winthrop Harbor or Milwaukee is on my list of things to do in the near future...

When I'm in your area, I'll send you an email and maybe we can have lunch and trade boat stories...

Again, it's good to meet good people...no matter where they are in the world...

I checked my email this am and didn't see your current post til tonight. I just called the latest number you gave me and it says "not valid". If you're free tomorrow we could do 2:30 to 6pm or so at Lake Pleasant. My fiance has to work til 1:00pm. Or possibly meet for lunch and a cold beverage. If you're busy, I understand... no pressure. I'll check the board in the morning
to see if you have a good number. You have to pay up so we can PM. And yes, I lived in Midland MI (2 hours north of Detroit) then my family moved out here in 76. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I'm expecting to pick up 4 sets of wheel simulators tomorrow...If nothing else goes haywire, I should be free...

I get up at 4:00am, so call me any time...

As you can see, I live out of a suitcase and move between hotels alot...

I'm an airline/hotel/rental car milage hound, so I never stay with one hotel chain more than a couple nights, depending on who is giving 2x miles or 3x miles (currently Marriott & Hertz)...

It's what we call gaining "psychic income"...beating the system...A game played by most road warriors...

as a matter of fact, I used to fly from Detroit to Berlin, Germany, on the weekends, just to hang out and collect the bonus miles to maintain my Platinum status w/Northwest...

Too bad N.W. raised the fares, the world became less safe for americans to travel and customs started going crazy after 9-11...

But, it's kind of an addiction...I've even flow from Detroit to Flint, then turned around and caught the next flight back, just for the bonus miles...(sic)...and guess what...they lost my luggage w/laptop...

BTW...I do alot of sledding / ATVing in Rose City and I'm currently looking at some property on Sanford Lake....

Though I wanted to supply my contact info. privately...

I want to thank Chris (Sleek1) publicly, for his generosity, hospitality and understanding, while doing business in PHX....

He went out of his way to alter his schedule and take me out for a ride on Lk. Pleasant...Being a former Formula offshore owner, that would have been quite an honor and great fun....

Unfortunately, I had to spend a great deal of of my time putting out fires and had to forego his very generous offer...My loss...
