That's why we go to Mead more than Havasu. It's too bad because Havasu is a much nicer lake than Mead but the people on Mead are way cooler. No drama and everyone gets along.
Just an opinion, but NO WAY havasu is nicer than Mead. JMO Besides, you are correct, people at Mead are WAY cooler. Plus, the lake is much, much bigger with lots more places to explore and "get lost".

No Lake is better than an other it's just different. Don't give me this WAY cooler crap. I meet real cool boaters at Havasu everyday I'm on the Lake. Never had a problem and I'm on the Lake 1-4 days a week year round if the weathers good. There are a-holes no matter where you go.

Havasu was amazing this weekend!! I have never seen it that packed. It was windy which made for some rough water, but well worth the trip.

High Bid, my wife and I will be pulling in July 2nd around 10ish. If you've still got it in you after a week in Havasu, maybe we could hook up for a run to the Naked Pirate? Let me know, either way you will enjoy Havasu.

Yes...thats a possibility although we checkout that day. From there our options are to go to Mohave for 2 days that AM or PM. Is it easier to run up there by auto and then launch or by boat from London Bridge?

I'd go by auto then launch. The water near Laughlin is shallow in spots and I'm told sometimes you are dependent on high tide. Plus there is a dam between Laughlin and Mohave I believe.
