Now....
If you would like to try again Andy... I am open. No sense in 2 brave owners being in conflict. You over-reacted to a fairly light jab... which you earned. Not a big deal at all. Not something that we couldn't have gotten past. You didn't get what I meant by "spending other people's money" and you got defensive.
We can still get past it. But not if you don't lower your testosterone level a bit and accept that you are a fire-pizzer.
I know guys who act like that.... but they do steroids.
It is up to you. I am reaching out with my hand. You either accept it or you don't. You simply are not on my radar as someone I need to be fighting with.

Fund.... can we start a new thread about YOUR boat?
I have to keep scanning this one looking for a good post.
I want to see this boat finished and being enjoyed.
For this kind of banter, i could walk into the other room where the wife and kids are.
FYI, my buddy bought an old magnum maltese cheap. Put another 30k plus into it... cosmetics 1st, and tried getting the engines fixed a few times over second, w/ no success... never ran. He ended up selling it for 10k. New owner went thru the drives himself... maybe $500 in parts, and the boat is running perfectly.
I think if you can get her running well for under $5000... WMF will be buggin out!

Nope, 27. I live on my own with my wife and pay for my own toys. Except for the sea ray, which is a family boat. So your making fun of me for being 27, LOL. This 27 year old has just as nice of boat as you do

And I am not making fun of you for it, I am making fun of you because of it... as it is your youth that has allowed you to get your young lil hackles up needlessly.
You keep having fuzzy memories... this became personal when you couldn't take a joke. (Happened to me when I was in my 20s too, you may grow out of it.)
Let me guess... I need to pull quotes again?

I bought the boat knowing what it would take in a variety of scenarios. I appreciate internet experts like lil Andy, who flap their mouths so much that sometimes people listen, and I benefit.
While I would never criticize Bill for the choice he made.... (besides, I like him... don't feel like criticizing him. He has been cool to me, and me to him) I can perhaps give partial credit to the internet experts like Andy for "helping" him.
What Andy hasn't learned yet is that anybody can buy anything, but knowledge and experience, as well as a network of actual experts takes time.
And he hasn't learned that sometimes the smartest thing is to just FAKE being a decent guy and having a some sort of a sense of humor. Nope... got defensive and never stopped.

As the propellers turn.
