Looking awesome JD!!! When I did the ITS's on mine, I had -1 lowers with 1" spacers. I took the spacers out after having drives rebuilt, and boat got on plane better with spacers out and having the ITS's.

About a month late, but if all goes right I should hit the water tomorrow!! It's been a loooong couple of weeks for me! I finished up the drives with all the Max Works upgrades I could do, I spent Memorial Day weekend lining out a few issues and getting the drives on! Came back on Tuesday to wash and take the boat for some fuel, so I could do the first fire up in the boat. Wrong, walk in and find a pool of drive oil on the floor!! Some how the brass barb fitting on the back of the helmet broke clean in two, this was a brand new fitting when I rebuilt the transoms! Anyway, replaced it and put everything back together on Wednesday! Last night it came to life!!

DAAAAAAAAAMN that’s awesome!! Looks fantastic!!
hey Jim, when you go out and run it, pay attention to how it planes out and trim setting compared to porpoise etc.
I don’t know if this would help but I put these on my old cafe and damn it made planing a snap, and minimized porpoise. Easy and cheap. Lotta bang for the buck. But the cafe didn’t have a notch and I had standard Bravos. But if you have any inkling planing and running at neutral at lower speeds could be improved, these may help out.

Hey Jim, I just noticed there's a B&D Marine sticker on your trailer. What's up with that? Brian (owner) worked on our first Top Gun in the early 2000's. Brian was a FANTASTIC mechanic and guy. He passed from cancer a couple years ago not. Was your boat in Ca at some point?

I was able to get out on Saturday and run the boat and watch the start of the Kuttawa Cannonball Run after the parade went through the canal. So far so good, I have a few things to work out and dial in but I ran 3500- 4000 RPM most of the time and ran it up past 4500 for a few seconds and it defiantly pulls! It gets on plane with no issue, I noticed I don't have to trim it much. You start getting above neutral trim in the rough and it started proposing, I should have drug my tabs a little to see if that helped, but had a hundred other things I was listening for and thinking about!
