yes excellent observation. Race boats are subjected to massive rooster tails of salt water which gets ingested
into the turbine this will ultimately increase the EGTs causing the damage usually in the first GP nozzle.
I have parts everywhere all labeled because my mind is not what it used to be heck i cant remember dinner last night

I spent the better part of the day yesterday tearing down the other turbine pulling the crashbox off only to find a seriously warped rotor.
The turbine is still all together just waiting it out a little.
I think i have milbar wire twisters which is reversible it is the second set i have had in may hands
and they all appear to be tight to open and close dont know if its intentional. Maybe a real aviation tech could shed some light.
I found out why they use the safety wire the other day.
This was attached at by only safety wire the nut which was secured to the upper part of the stud if the saftey wire broke it would have been a FOD
