Here is a pretty cool internal puller that extracts it.

this is the last item to remove before the diffuser
it is a carbon seal so one must take caution not to chip it.
make sure you dont do what i did and removal all of the diffuser to compressor bolts prior to this.Leave atleast 4.

it required some heat as i smacked down on the diffuser with a rubber hammer is started to go

here is all the components that make up the number too bearing and seal.
the bearing housing and pinch plate and seal retainer is getting swopped out for the reworked versions.
this is all about keeping these items cooler

removed the remainder of the compressor to diffuser bolts and whacked upward on the diffuser with a rubber mallet
and she finally let loose

17 inch Mitsubishi rim worked for the second motor
vertical is much easier.
saws alled the spokes out
