Good job. No more holes, please. That's a plenty ! You need mass to take on and dissipate the heat. U do work, I C, lol. Now show us the HUBS.

Nice thread! I have done some jet work back in the day myself. I can still twist a mean wire plier too.
I just ran across three portable start turbines in good condition cheap with some friends of mine.
I will have to run the numbers to see if they are big enough next time I get up there.

I suppose I could buy one just to piss off the neighbors. lol

One's hanging on Planes. C-5, C-141, A-7, F-16, F-5, and 3.5 yrs on President Regan's E-4b.
Engines and APU's. It was called USAir Force for 6 yrs. Flight Line, Over haul, Test Cell, Inspection. etc.

Thanks Jaime!! i need to keep myself busy otherwise i may find myself waking up in a strip joint.

here is the hub that the rotor bolts to the center spline is worn allowing rotor runout

it is a 32 spline on a 2 1/16 shaft
i am pretty sure SCS made this if have a call into Craig over there now will see if he can machine a new one.
here is the spline inside the crashbox bell housing

cool those Little turbine can throw some hp considering the size.
APU aux power unit
they usually are used to start a bigger turbine
