Im guessing that enlarging the intake ducts and the combustion swirl slots being enlarged will help the egts.
interesting points Curious as to your cruise range?
I have a total of 314 gallons (257 main and 57 forward) so I can go about 600 miles. But I usually start with 150 gallons run it down to 40 or so and put another 100 in unless I am going to the Bahamas for a week then I fill both tanks. I get better MPG running 50/50 water/Meth but what I save in diesel I spend x4 in Meth so its not worth the $$$ and hassle for MPG alone, I thought about using the forward 57 gallon tank for a dedicated water/meth tank but for the limited amount of time I could really use the extra 30hp (at WOT) its not worth it, I mean if I am going 55 or 57 does it really matter? I may reinstall the water injection system and just set it up to run when I get over 1100 EGT and it will last about 7 hrs off of the 40 gallon freshwater tank. (175ml/min x2)

But in your case couldn't you add more fuel which normally would cause an EGT problem but offset it with the water injection, apples and oranges I know, my engines only make 325hp each

as we move forward we are ultimately removing the diffuser housing so we can machine it with the scallops similar to the bearing housing shown above
here is the bearing which we need to remove next
