Congrats on getting your parts in. The way things are going together you should be out for a test run on or before the first day of spring ! _ - - -

All is ready with the exception of the machine shop. is that not typical? I remember waiting months for machine work of my big block parts.
I am trying to decide whether i should cross drill the new thicker rotors.
here is a comparison

the new rotors are thicker
the old measure .312 the new are at .375 which gives it more mass.
however it is not vented it is solid.
without reinventing the rotor here.
here are some point of views.

i think i can count two instances where i lost brakes ( the ability too shift from neutral forward or reverse).
this event occurs at low speed. Maneuvering around the docks. which you all know everyone and there brother are watching your lame
a$$. The fact that your running to smelly whiny helicopter power plants just compounds the issue.
This was i be leave of severe brake fade.
That leads me too modify the current brake system by simply adding a larger rotor and changing the brake pad compound.

After reading the above mentioned i have come too the conclusion that i really don't know what im doing so i just drew a line in the middle.
and decided to just drill them at 50 percent.

so i bolted the old one too the new one (to use as jig) and went to town on the drill press with a fresh cobalt 5/16 drill bit.
only drilling half the holes.
