Not race motors! Stock with a few upgrades. Did you look under the hatch? I re-powdered the intake and it didn't seem to change the HP? :confused: And I have NO intentions of ordering any parts today. What I have is what I got...It will work once I get her dialed a little. Already stated proping to dial in is expected to be done on both boats, don't care if you have them, relab them, or buy new to get it where you want it. I'd even consider Herings to be within the scope of proping.

The question was whether or not you plan to bolt something on that was not there sunday. Was I supposed to look in the back of the truck? HBWs shop? Under a rock someplace? Are additional bolt ons fair game for you? If so what about me? Like short Sportmasters and a new computer, or maybe some Whipples?

You seem to be back pedaling here and avoiding answering the questions asked. They were simple straight foreward questions, easily answered, so what's the problem here old buddy? Meet up with your bud on the water, he's rigged up with his newest go fast chit, his best ever number props, and his new high tech butt cam all zeroed in. He's packin' his whole A game program, at least to date. You start cruising up the river, checking some numbers for your prop guy. The other half says " He's comming". So you step it up a little, thinking to yourself "if this is what he wants WTF". Mid eighties he's spent so you run it out, pull a little distance on him, just to make the point, and call it done.

Back on the dock you graciously pass it off as just F'n around, though you do by all rights have one in your pocket, understand he may have some dialing in left to do, and agree to try it another day. Agree to wait and see who can make the most of what they have.

Not the case at all, these props have been run on two (2) afternoons, saturday with a lite fuel load and then sunday full of fuel to get a real picture of what they might be capable of. The 94 was repeated numerous times on saturday afternoon lite on fuel, a number of them captured on video. Samantha stood behind the bolster and filmed it. :p Want to see? Send a stamped self adressed envelope and I'll have Samantha burn you a disc. I'd post them, but don't have a clue how to do that. Now call me stipid. :rolleyes:

That was not the number on sunday, nor did I say anywhere that it was. The number up was 89-90 up river and into the wind with Axa, though it did run 92 on the trip back down river later on. Which is why the next step here is to see if these props can be worked to better cary the extra weight and still get up to the better speed. I'm not the prop wizzard here, just the guinea pig. I was given an opportunity here and I plan to take full advantage of what Brett is willing to do for me. If it seems like I'm playing these props up it's cause I am, Brett/BBlades deserves the plug here, he did me right and I'm just trying to return something to him. Who knows they might even perk up that sled of yours. The crusing speeds with these are real nice as well, my cruise is approaching your WOT.

As far as posting the picture,,, I am quite pleased with the deal. Call it what you want, it's still a stock powered 35' Vee bottom running 94 mph, and I'm real proud of that. It's a couple more than I ever expected to get to.

This trailer is (quote) brand new, I honestly figured it would make it thru the first 500 miles without major maintence issues. Guess I was all wrong on that. ( Call me stupid. ) Someone forgot to mention the salt water dunking several times. Wouldn't have made a rats arse of a difference here, the salt had already pitted all the bearings, a case of JT-6 could not have prevented the failure of the high quality Chinese bearings. All new now, packed with JT-6 from Tractor Supply, and working fine.
