:party-smiley-004: Dave And as aforementioned, I made the consious and polite decision to let you have at it with Kelly. Hence restraint on my part. It's just part of that new friendly and less competitive overall attitude in the boathouse this past season. Kinda', more or less. ;) |

Is that the polite way of saying you got nothing for me? Because the only time I can recall you being in front of me this summer was when we were idling thru some of the Jeff's tours narrows! And to top it off, I never even bolted on my FAST props!! :lolhit: Don't get all excited now...This is the TIBBC. Verify the speeds that Kelly O and I were running.... Dave |

Actually this is what I thought I said. ;) Your boat does have mine by 10 right now! Degrees that is! Billy has the thermostat set at 55 in the storage building. And I'll bet my wax job is fresher than your's! |

Ragged seems a LITTLE out-numbered in this thread battle, not sure I want to throw my hat in the ring or not :coolcowboy: I'm not concerned at all, I know I have enough to cover him, with some reserve! But, I showed you my WHOLE hand that. That's it, there wasn't any more that day. As for Ragged, he is pretty good at fighting his own battle, but the truth becomes a little more like something you might see on Mythbusters....Plausable!! :angry-smiley-038: Dave |

:lolhit: Jeff Very well could be the end of a long day. Very well could be the demon Burbon , acts much like that oriental swill :drink: . Likely not disbelief as I've yet to see it. :lolhit: |

As far as the "reserve" goes on that day, my money says the yellow beak had it covered in spades. I did enjoy the run back with you, it is kinda cool to be able to somewhat watch how your own boat runs. Samantha does a lot of video of all these guys running, some of it is pretty good. Never seems that any of them can catch the running shots of the Biotch, don't understand that. |

What do I know ..... I was Jackie Chan'd that weekend ... :boat: Jeff |
For a minute there I thought we had all broke up .....
Glad to see everyone is right back to the usual ..... Usually they call this hunting season ..... I think we should call this TIBBC season ..... seems everyone has a little more time on there hands ...... I missed this ..... This is better then cable tv ..... :gfight: Jeff |

That itself is something I've yet to figure out, oh well. Up here it's refered to as Hunt'N Season. That time of the year when men go off to the deep woods, aka small remote hole-in-the-wall bar :drink:, in search of their trophy buck. Which often turns out to be a toothless deep woods female that also seems to be "in season" this time of the year .................. So I hear! TIBBC .......... does BB stand for bigger bullchit? |
Glad to see the thread is back to life! I thought everyone fell of the edge somewhere. Oh and here we go again my boats faster than yours, but who holds the King of the River Title? oh thats me since everyone was in a much mellower friendlier spirit this year. I think Sam has the pic for proof posted earlier:drink:

My thoughts exactly, odd how all this starts up again after everything is put away for the season, go figure! If I remember correctly your title this year was based on your harem of boat babes rather than your abilities in the MPH arena. |

Ragged + Bourbon = Funny pictures!! :lolhit: As for the speed thing...Read back a few pages to what YOU wrote. That's where it starts again. I'm just telling it like I saw it. Dave |
imagine that...
Mr. negative innuendo and back-door instigator can't figure out how it all gets going again, or why it comes back his way  Obviously critical thinking is the hallmark of St. Lawrence county. oops- I meant to say... Mr. integrity and innocence. |
Halloween has come and gone, Boats all winterized setting in the back yard waiting for next season. A little news on our end. went to a radio station sponsered Halloween party with lots of raffle drawings. Our table of 12 struck out thru out the night. But as the last drawing took place Cheryl and I had the winning ticket: trip for 2 to vegas!!!!!:drink: Wish I could check the boat in on the flight , I'd check out lake Mead. Hope all is well in good old upsate NY.

Axa has gone 2-cycle!!!! And, with the assistance of his wordrobe adviser, Gottwins, he looks like a maniquin for a Klim catalog!!!! Gotta hand it to Axa, he goes big or doesn't go! I'm sure we'll be able to post some very interesting photos as the season progresses.:drink: |

Well now that I can see clearly...Lasik Surgery on Monday to eliminate the glasses! :grinser010: Going to still need a cheater pair for close up, but should be better than the glasses for everything else. Results are pretty amazing!
As for the whole snowmobile thing, well let's just say I miss my buddies all winter long and this should be a great way to spend more time with these guys! The Sled: 2002 Yamaha SX Viper 700 triple, thanks Al (The guy with the Warlock I rigged last spring). 1117 miles and looks pretty much like new. A couple of scuffs, but I am already looking to get it touched up here and there. I am looking into having the shocks re-valved. I am told the ride is a little stiff and can be adjusted with a simple re-valve?!? I started to polish things up last weekend and will continue that as the eyes heal and time allows. The Clothing: I have a clothier that comes to my office and sells me my suits, ties and shirts. Got Twins is my official Snowmobile Clothier!! Klim outerwear is the best that money can buy and disputed by none. He has the hook-up (or a “Guy”) that took VERY good care of me. For that, I thank him for taking care of me and for all of the advice. If nothing else on the trails….I’ll look good! The Membership: Who would of thought that you would get a discount on your NYS registration if you became a member of a snowmobile club? Why isn’t that an option with our boats? Thanks go out to Bird for the membership to their club The Pulaski –Boylston Snowmobile Club! I look forward to hanging with these guys this year and doing some riding! Both Jeff and Dave have been VERY helpful with advice to me on something that I am just learning about. Back in the day when I had my 1970 something Ski-Doo, yeah it was cool and all, but things have changed somewhat…Ya Think? These guys know their stuff and are will to teach me. I look forward to some help out in the tundra on what to and not to do! Thanks Guys! Dave |

Dave awsome ride you got there, looks just like the 2 I have setting in the garage same model and year as well :drink: You couldn't have made a better choice! From the picks I'd say it looks like it's in great shape. so what kind of track do you have on it, studded, paddles, stock? One word of caution, on those near zero days don't think your going to give it one got yank to get it running, start with two slowwww pulls then one hard and it should fire right up. (unless you got the electric start). The one bit of advice that will keep you from throwing your shoulder out, trust me. :angry-smiley-038: By the way I have the service manual if you ever need info.
|
Gosh since I have freed up some cash I may look into buying another skippy doo.
|
None of you have heard the latest news?
No snow this year! Too much, too early, too long last year. So the Snow Fairy is taking this year off to recoup from last year. |
