I did forget the Shaggy gig, but hey, it'll be a party at the Pond you won't soon forget. Joe and Mike are young-bucks that we hang with at the beach, good guys, they throw one heck of a bash. Shaggy sets up on a pontoon boat boat and plays all day. It's going to be a busy place.

Ragged, I'll check with Chuck at the marina and see if he's got a dock. It's about the best place to stay at the Pond. You know though, for a guy, you're pretty high-maintenance, aren't you?!?!:p Just take crap in the bushes like every other guy out there!! If you have to go bad enough, you'll hit the bushes.:drink:

Bob, Bucky is getting BIG. He's ready to make a bad girl out of Ginger!!

Maybe solo runs would be more appropriate. ;);)

Lets put it this way....Not someone I would like to meet in a dark alley...But it is someone that you would like to have on your side if things start going bad... I bet he will be up to the pond on the 19...If you would like to meet him...He can drink his share:drink:

I'd hate to see our man 'Bird have to step up and make one of those embarassing trips to the store in the interest of feminine hygiene. :evilb:

It's been 55 on the trailer with no props on, that count?

I'm sure I'd loose in a Driftin' contest with Rip, he's the master of going nowhere fast, been doing it forever. The 496s are much more effecient at getting you nowhere fast than my 525s.

You would be far drier under the leaky roof than where you are, why don't you blow that joint and move early.

is that all you got?

the same old same old?

I'd have to be as much of a braggart about going slow as you are about going fast for that comeback to make any sense at all.

BTW...

we all know from your avatar and the yap that you know where the RECALL button is...

have you found the REPEAT button yet? :evilb:

Recall works fine, and so does Axas now that the wires are not crossed. Seems when he was recalling he was actually erasing. If you had one of the hi-tec hi-number speedos you would know there is no REPEAT button.

The number has been repeated, and the average day number is still pretty impressive. 90+ full of fuel with four people in 2-3s into the wind ain't bad for a pleasure boat. Monte can verify that for you, I let him run it a few weeks back. His comment was that the Biotch has an "attitude" and it's "on a rail", his words, not mine.

As far as bragging about it, haven't said a word in some time now, it is what it is. But in that you bring it up, I'm real F'n pleased with the Biotch. I'm just burnin' fuel and having one he!! of a blast with it. Just can't wait to see what it does when BBlades gets me the right props for the thing. Only going to get better from here, and here ain't bad at all, were you here I'm sure you would agree. :p

WTF is this "ain't gonna brave the lake" crap??? I've got no problem, or fear of for that matter, with Lake Ontario. It's just a another puddle of water, one that over the years I've likely spent as much or more time on than you. Just because I have no affection for chittin' in the bushes or a hole in the sand I'm in fear of the lake???

Nope, not at all. Been there several times in ALL conditions.

Just thought since you own such a much faster boat, that you'd give 5PM a headstart. If you left from the Bay and He left from Oswego..That'd be fair!

I think it's ironic you that you have a chip about my ways, but at the same time borrow my ideas.

one thing I did figure out was the slip "clothesline"

it only took you 11 years to catch on...:grinser010:

no wonder you spew about that boat so much, it's the closest you'll ever come to moving at the speed of light. :p

Handy little invention, you should have applied for a patten on that one. Axa and I would both be paying you for using it.

Come to think of it, I have always been a little closer to the "Speed of Light" number than you have. Not there yet, but I'm working on getting closer. :D

ThirdBird 07-17-2008 07:33 AM

So who's coming to the Pond? Sounds like Axa is in for sure, maybe Jeff on Sunday. Ragged? Randy? Mike? Bob?

Rippem 07-17-2008 08:04 AM

no good for us as we are on the Fri/Sat night 24 hour work- week plan for the rest of the summer.
I have been for 3 weeks already.

Looking forward to the 6th of August though.
What is your ETA on Wed.
We will be off 'till late Friday.
Look forward to seeing your group of 311's.

axapowell 07-17-2008 08:12 AM

Looking about 60% for us right now....40% chance of scattered thunderstorms (Friday- Sunday)...Still plan to leave tomorrow early evening as long as the forecast doesn't change. Bird, you'll have to keep us up to date on the skies in the Pond.

remember the loop down there with the 303 and my V one rough day.

we were having an air contest in a big following sea along Pt. Penninsula?

I think we have been there boating together a couple of times.

I'm looking forward to getting back down there boating.
I love it on the Lake, this end ENE of Stony point has a lot of great features and spots, and anchorages, and breakfasts,

...and most important, CH!TTERS!!

Lord knows I wouldn't go there if there wasn't.

I doubt your P32 would've outrun my 26V ...

Yea...I remember that. Awesome day on the lake. The 303 did pretty good that day, as did the V. I think gas was around $1.75 a gallon and a trip to Kingston for Margarita's was an every weeked thing! The bar bill usually exceeded the gas bill!

I am in for sure on Sunday ..... possibly Saturday evening if I can get out of dodge on time.
I will trailer right to Oswego and drop there. Unless someone has a better idea on where to go.
I should be there approx. 7:30pm if all goes well.
If not I will be there first thing Sunday morning with bells on and Ceasars of course.
